The Golden One...

A first appearance on the blogworld for Kent

The Golden One
I've started adding little "mb"s to the bottom corner of my photos, but it would be far too time consuming to go back and do the ones that have already been posted. Future photos will have it though, I found this awesome font called "Poor Richard"- it's really cute! That's all for this post, caught up to the present and the next one will be photos from Saturday night! win!
Stay tuned.
Oh and FB page has hit 200 fans! V. exciting. Link is at the top right of the page.

Marlow/Corpus 29/01/10

These photos were taken at the Bull and Bush in Baulkham Hills. I love that venue now, and I'm sure when you see the lighting I had to work with you'll understand why. Let's just say in Marlow's 40minute set, I took about 500 photos.

Corpus. I like it because the crowds in focus, not the band.

Travis from Marlow

Blake. I love this one. The sillhouette effect.

Matt.

Hey Jim Morrisson, didn't you die?

This shoot made me realise- smoke machines should be everywhere!

So that's it for this shoot. Possibly my best gig photos to date, I was very happy with them.

Ramshackle at Lewisham Livehouse, 09/01/10

Shacklers at Lewisham livehouse, January 9th

J's part of the stage didn't have very good lighting.
He is way under-represented in this shoot.

Dedication-
risking broken ankles and embarrassment to climb on stage for a good shot

The set list, for those who missed out.

Tony, however, had very good lighting on his part of the stage-
There were too many excellent photos of him!

Ok so that's it for another post, soon they'll all be up and it'll be time for real updates, not catch ups!

Ramshackle photoshoot 27/12/09

Here are the best shots from my first (of many in the future I'm sure) portrait shoot. It took five hours, including travelling between locations. Most of the time, however, was eaten up by the boys goofing off. Still went well, considering how green we all were.

Test shots- Jared

Love the focusing in this one

I know it';s over-exposed but I think that's part of its charm. Besides, I prefer to avoid editing unless I can be artistic with it.

Candid photos during the planning stages.

You can see me in the left lense. Woops

J. No prizes for guessing why this one is my favourite...

All for this post. Might post some more before the night is over. Certainly need the distraction...
